Code of Behaviour
Our code of behaviour outlines the standard of behaviour expected from all pupils. We place great emphasis on promoting positive behaviour. We encourage parents to actively support us in this important work. Positive reinforcement is an integral part of Scoil Íosagáin’s ethos. Children are rewarded for positive behaviour regularly. One way in which we encourage and reward positive behaviour is our Boy Of The Week scheme. Each teacher picks a deserving boy from their class every week and these boys are commended for their behaviour during our Monday assembly. They get a certificate and a tennis ball from Ms Fanning!
Another way in which positive behaviour is encouraged is our Class of the Month programme. Classes are awarded points each day based on work completed, behaviour in class and on the yard, homework, punctuality, uniform and attendance. The class with the most points at the end of the month are brought to Marlay Park in Rathfarnam.
