Today the boys in 2nd class were planting their early Collene Potatoes. These potatoes had been left in the sun on our windowsills in school for 2 weeks so that the potato eyes would grow. Today we planted them using buckets and big shopping bags. The boys used fertilizer, sand, leaves and soil to help them grow, we watered them before leaving them in the garden flower beds. We can’t wait to pick our potatoes in 90 days- when they are ready.
