Scoil Íosagáin Boy's Choir

The boys in Scoil Íosagáin have shown great passion and commitment when it comes to their musical performance. Our choir consists of boys from across all classes (2nd-6th) and we rehearse throughout the year for different events in and out of school. Every Christmas the choir perform in the Ashleaf Shopping Centre in Crumlin and we would like to express our sincere gratitude as it allows us to raise funds for the school!

Ms. O’Callaghan and Mr. O’Meara would like to thank the boys who came to practice every week. They really do themselves proud! We practice a wide variety of songs. This year saw the performance of ‘Three Little Birds’, ‘Whiskey in the Jar’ and ‘Dirty Old town’ in front of the school. Below is a picture of their first performance with these songs. They put so many hours of practice in and it sounded amazing, well done boys!

We are very excited to do so much more with the choir to enrich and develop musical skills and talents next year. There are lots more lovely songs from a wide variety of genres that are planned for next year! Maybe have a think about what songs you would like to hear by our choir? All suggestions welcome!
