Student Council

We at Scoil Íosagáin believe that the pupils have a large role to play in making our school great!

The School Council was set up in January 2020 by the pupils and staff of Scoil Íosagáin. This contributes to a positive and welcoming school environment to learning and happiness.

Each class is represented by two boys who work on behalf of the pupils to bring about positive change and improve the school.

The boys will be elected by their classmates and each candidate must state why they would be an active member and do their best to achieve success.
There are meetings regularly where planning and organising events/ideas are
discussed. The boys get to voice their opinions on various aspects of school life.

The council also has an important role to play in school events such as fundraising, celebrations and special presentations.
